Well...

I fell in love with woman... and that's a problem because she didn't feel the same way about me.

Years later, I was introduced to a very smart lady and that's important to me because I'm sort of out on the bell curve. She had basically the same values and beliefs. She looked good. We got along and both of us were getting older and wanted a family. We got married. I knew I didn't love her, but I also knew myself and knew that I would come to love her. It took about a year and a half to fully bond. I did mention it to her and how comfortable it was.

She, on the other hand ...

I do believe that the best marriages are two people that are friends first, but that may not be an option.
