This is a great summary and description but for one thing. The point was never to get the evidence to the Supreme Court. The point is to be able to claim that they had evidence that they were never allowed to present.

Almost the whole strategy of the Republicans has been based on lies and it has worked remarkably well. That is what must be fought or the court victories will be meaningless.
