There's an irony to Trump's desire for revenge. Jesus did not say not to lie or steal or commit adultery. Those were laws before his time. His messages were simply of love and forgiveness. I cannot imagine a more anti-Christian value than revenge, the stated goal of Mr. Trump. I mean, even if not in the scriptural way, that really makes Trump the anti-Christ. Of course, another traditional sign of the anti-Christ is the upside down Cross, like how he was holding the Bible in Lafyette Park.

The evangelicals think Trump will make America a Christian nation, but considering his habits and all the felons he surrounds himself with, they should understand that he means to make it a criminal country.

On another note, I'm a biologist who studies human survival strategy. I wonder how many people look at the teachings of Jesus as a survival strategy, because in terms of biology it is one. I'm not that into heaven or hell or Gods, but I see the lessons of Jesus as an incredible gift that would come from a philosopher. He told us how to survive into the future in a way that will allow us to become more than we are now. That is what a philosopher does. When the names of of the great Gods Amun-Ra, Athena, Odin and Jupiter are forgotten, humanity will remember the name of this philosopher that said how to achieve peace. Unfortunately, that strategy Jesus taught is more often buried under the religious connotations of his name.

I work on long term human survival as humans try to adapt to a new ecology after we left the tribal ecology for the farms and cities of civilization
