Reasons are wonderful, but love, children and family have components of instincts, something we are unable to deal with well and reason does not explain. We have very little instincts to have families. We have a string instinct to have sex and that was always enough. Nurturing instincts just naturally developed with pregnancy and children. Birth control has broken the chain. All you say is true, to some degree or another, but the problem I see is about our instincts to have families is simply not developing. I spent about 20 months working out why this was and how to solve it. If interested, you might check out this essay. Sorry, it's a bit long, but it will offer ideas you have never considered.
