Quite possibly, but the human mind is made to recognize patterns (even when they aren't there), and patterns are a bit like music. You may know a lot of patterns or music, but there's always more of them.

As for smarter, it's generally not geniuses administering those tests. Hopefully they are intelligent psychologists, but when I was tested in 6th grade it was largely because the teacher thought I was dim. ... I had surpassed him. The folks that did the test said "oopsy, he wasn't s'posed to be here". According to their analysis, I had surpassed them. So why shouldn't you have?
