Problems, problems, problems. Everyone wants to talk about problems instead of solutions and that's just another problem.

So capitalism is the problem. Wait, are you even talking about capitalism. No, I don't think so. Capitalism is the use of capital a a tool of productivity. The closest this discussion comes to that is the ownership mechanism of capitalism that creates wealth inequality. That's not capitalism. That's greed and status chasing. The solution is simple. I'll give you a few.

Offer a different kinds of wealth and status that can't be hoarded or stolen. I can think of two of those.

(1) Teach philosophy again and that could provide the wealths that are wisdom and understanding. It would also teach critical thinking that everyone seems to agree is missing and yet so needed in this disinformation age. It would give foundations for people to confidence on instead of listening to the marketeers up selling you with flattery. It would give foundations for people to develop values on instead of listening to the vapid voices of social media. There are many other things teaching the basics of phislophy to children would bring. There is a reason it was called the King of Knowledge. Unfortunately, STEM has crowded it out, just as it has crowded out home economics, civics, manual arts, physical education and so many other essential lessons. Science is amazing and provides both power and wealth, but not a lot of understanding without philosophy under it.

Think of the potential for satisfaction that the accomplishment of developing one's own mind could bring. Maybe even as much as getting a Hermes bag, but certainly more useful.

(2) There's another form of wealth that no one pays attention to, but I've already gotten wordy, so, consider the wealth of what you are, a product of your genes. Your genetics are our greatest wealth. elsewhere I talk about husbanding that and why we must.
