No one has called me sane lately.
So, what it sounds like is that if someone offered a way to understand the problem and a solution, the "BILLIONS" would get behind it. With a target, a path to it and a worthy, moral goal, they would mobilize behind it to change the world. It seems to me though that it's not just about fixing the world, it's about fixing humanity. That seems essential to fixing the planet. We need someone to describe how humans can adapt genetically and strategically to the new world that has been developing since we started civilization and is still developing. A healthy world maintained and protected by healthy humans. Yeah, that's the ticket. Ya know though, it would take a lot of work to do that. I know, because I've worked on just that for over 50 years. I've worked out what ecology humans can make in the future where we can survive and develop long term. I've worked out how to get there. If you want to see the genetics part look at "Genetics For A New Human Ecology" at https://www.amazon.com/dp/1544900996 . It's not a long read and it's cheap. I'm currently working on re-writing it. Then on to "Strategy For A New Human Ecology". That was tough. First I had to explore what science could tell me, then I had to go on to explore philosophy for what it didn't have. Then I had to find out what our moral instincts could tell us. That's hard because they cannot speak. After all that, I think I'm ready to describe a strategy of how we can make it to the future. It's rooted in the basic details from a number of different sciences, philosophies and religions. We have the tools. We just need to understand them.
Umair well describes the problems humanity and civilization faces. I systematically describe a path to solve them.
