It hasn't worked. It's a great idea. The distribution infrastructure is in place. A lot of progres has been made, but it just doesn't work yet. The current problem is separating the "oil" from the microbe/plant. Other than that, bio-oil represents a battery, a store of energy. Everyone wants that, but it just ain't there.
