I'm not sure I should reply to this. I can usually find parts to speak well of in something on this topic but this sure seems like wishful thinking. I'll try though... How about that most recent wars have been over fossil fuels and other limited resource. The cheapness of wind and solar energy will mean that traditional war will become economically obsolete and then we will use those resources to focus on a war to save the world ecology and our own sorry asses that depend on a healthy world for survival.
Luckily there is also another issue coming along that will help as well... Study technology, computers, and physical sciences all you want and you will still need to understand biology and genetics to understand humans and the problems we face. In that understanding is great potential to solve the human problems we face.
