I usually ignore these complaints about The Patriarchy, but this shows so much willful blindness I feel like responding.

Uno. If you don't like the Patriarchy (or war or slavery or disease or murder or mosquitos...) blame MOTHER NATURE. That's where it starts and if you don't get the beginning right, you're not going to get much else right. Nature isn't fair. Deal with it.

Dos. Read "The Self Made Man" by Nora Vincent. She wanted to see what being a man was like. It surprised her greatly. It's not as fun and free as it might look. It is not about the Patriarchy, it is the System. It is just as brutal or maybe more so for the men.

Tres. Pay attention to what Martin Luther King taught. It's not about discrimination against Blacks, it is the System (that Mother Nature created). It's not about domination of women. It's about domination of everyone. If you want Justice and Fairness and some kind of Equality for women, you need Equality and Social Justice for all.

The great mass of men (and women) live lives of quiet desperation. If you want change, you have change it for both.

If you want change, keep in mind that men will do anything for love. Learn that. Work that. Maybe a woman will make a house a home, but a man will build that house hoping to she will fill it with love. (and no, it's not just about sex.)

Quatro. The moral struggle is not a war to be won. It is the daily battles of all good men and women.

I work on long term human survival as humans try to adapt to a new ecology after we left the tribal ecology for the farms and cities of civilization
