I haven't spent time on it, but I've wondered why the ancient Greek philosophers said that women needed to be managed as they are too chaotic on their own. I should look into that, but it's not a priority.

Random thought that might be expanded here. A lot of human activity is to maintain order. We know how we are expected to act and it greatly simplifies interactions. You can see that this could make sense when it comes to men opening doors for women. A lot of other male-female interaction could fall under this. Just another thing for me to examine... when I have the time.
